By our Premiership Handicapper; Richard P.
The biggest misconception people have when they meet me and they ask what I do - and I tell them "I'm a Handicapper" they immediately think I'm a bookmaker!
Its like no, no, no, no guys, I'm not taking your wagers, I'm selling you my picks, selling you analysis.
The problem in this industry is when you hear the word "Handicapper" it always has such a negative connotation, for good reason, because of all the scum that has surfaced in this "broadband" era.
You've heard the horror stories, many of you have been ripped off by them as well. "Fly-by-night" operations selling "Insider Picks", "Match-Fixing" Scandals and so on.
Now of course on this site, as you well know the plays from our Handicappers are available nowhere else, they are based on ANALYSIS and expertise, not bogus insider tips and match fixing claims. Our Customer Service is direct to a PERSON on our 0845 number 18 hours a day. That's the advantage of buying here.
Now the other thing is the word "Handicapper", taking it one step further. I look at games, I break down a huge card and I use all the information that's at my disposal to try to make an educated decision on which side is going to win, but there are no guarantees in gambling. Look it up in the dictionary, Gambling and Guarantees aren't even on the same page.
I am no different than a Financial Adviser.
Now my personal financial adviser - who works for one of the big companies out there, he laughs at me when I make that connection, he thinks I'm making fun of him. But honestly, what is the difference between what I do and what a Financial Adviser does?
You go to a financial adviser they are going to advise you on what stocks to buy, what funds to place your investments in and the asset allocation etc. How do they do that? They analyse masses of data, then make an educated decision based on market trends, past performance, current performance and then they tell you, buy this stock, choose this fund etc.
There are no guarantees - They don't know when they give you that recommendation (That you're paying for), whether or not that fund is going to do well or whether you'll lose money. Again there's no guarantees and it's no different than what I do.
I'm a Handicapper but remember - It's no different than a financial adviser.
You can expand on this comparison this way too - All of my plays are rated, they are rated so you know in a money management term how to wager upon them and also to protect your bankroll - Just like asset allocation in an investment bond or pension fund.
Are we value for money when compared to a Financial Adviser? - Hell Yes.
An IFA will take 6% of your investment if you were to invest in an investment bond, 5% of your fund value for a pension transfer, 6% of whatever you place in an ISA and so on - That's for essentially picking 10 funds to invest in!
Would you pay us 6% of your £10200 ISA allowance for 10 Picks from us? NO!
This is where you see value for money. We can offer a full season of Premiership Picks (149 last season) for less than 5% of your annual ISA allowance!
Now what about betting with the money from your ISA - Gambling is also TAX FREE!
At Football Advisers you have the nations top handicappers, it is safe, it is secure and its a proven way to make money.
Best Wishes,
Richard P.
