Handicap -1 bets are similar to normal handicap bets, however as the handicap is of a whole number then the draw is a viable option.

Example line:

Manchester United v Arsenal

Man Utd -1 13/5
Arsenal +1 4/6
Man Utd v Arsenal Draw (Hcp) 11/4

In this example Man Utd are favourite by 1 goal, and therefore must win the game by 2 goals or more to win the bet. If Arsenal win the game or if the game is tied then the underdog (Arsenal) would win because of the 1 goal advantage. If Man Utd win the game by only 1 goal then the draw bet would win.
