Betting Advice - What is a Betting Adviser/Tipster?
Betting Advisers (also known as Tipsters, Touts, Betting Consultants, Advisors) in history have been mainly associated with Horse-Racing. These Touts would often offer advice about betting on horses in order to either; Share the winnings or Influence the Odds.
Tipping changed dramatically with the increase of 1-800 lines and underground handicappers in the USA. They used sweat shop-like phone operations to directly sell their advice to punters and sharing their winnings. Men like Steve Budin (author of "Bets, Drugs and Rock N Roll" and the Man who opened the worlds first offshore bookmaker) and Brandon Lang (aka Brandon Link, Brandon Lane, as depicted in the hit film "Two for the Money") revolutionised the sports betting industry and effectively made it what it is today.
In the present day there are absolutely hundreds upon thousands of so called "tipsters", the market is awash with new companies every day. Many fail as quickly as they start, and many punters have learned the hard way.
To break down exactly what Tipsters do; They effectively decide on the outcome of sporting events and sell this "prediction" to the public. If they predict successfully, the punters return.
Handicapping is definitely not as easy as it seems, if it was easy there would be no handicappers - just punters!
Here at the Football Advisers we have revolutionised the Handicapping industry. We have taken the core handicapping ethos of picking winners and brought it into the new millennium. We have based our service on the basis of giving FULL ADVICE, not just picking winners.
Let me explain:
Joe Blow the handicapper sells you a tip for £50 - You open it to realise its a tip on Man Utd v Derby. For the guys not too fresh on Football/Soccer, Man Utd v Derby is a foregone conclusion that Man Utd will win. The odds are so tight due to the high likeliness of a Utd win so you get odds of say 0.3/1 (1.30 as decimal), you would need to bet a minimum of £175 just to win enough money to pay for the tip. So you've bet £175, made £50 and paid the Handicapper it.
No brainer?!
So this is why many sites out there can spit off reams and reams of "WIN" results, without having to tell you the full details of whether you would actually made a profit out of it.
Where we are different
As I've said, we've revolutionised the industry. When we send out a tip to you, it is a full spread, not just the one easy game. We tip on EVERY Barclays Premier League Game. The reason for this is that the money is made on the close-to-call games, not the foregone conclusions as outlined above. We spread the risk by betting on the close and foregone games to make a profit, but protect the bankroll at the same time. The same way a Bank offsets its risk.
We take the Financial Adviser ethos and apply it the Betting, So you're getting a full spread of tips, you're getting advice on how much to place on each game, and you're getting information on where the best odds can be found.
Example:
The only thing I need to explain is the Points. This is effectively "percent", percent of your bankroll. So if you have a bankroll of £100 or £1000 this method will protect your money. Our complimentary excel software calculates everything for you so you dont need to worry.
You will not find another Betting Advisers our there doing this. We are the most transparent and accurate, all of our past results can be viewed here - our betting record
Now aside from this, we need to get the actual tips right, or our snazzy and fantastic advice is redundant. Well we pick the right outcomes because we use the same indices the Bookies use to set the odds, except we use them to bet against the bookies. This is how we are so successful - you dont see any poor Bookies do you?!
